Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property
• Monitor employee and visitor traffic to identify suspicious individuals or situations
• Verify employee and visitor identification badges where required
• Receive complaints or information from staff and visitors and respond appropriately
• Observe and report potential security issues to the supervisor
• Document daily activities and incidents accurately in the shift logbook
• Complete detailed incident reports in a timely manner for Security Director review

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Security Officer; military or law enforcement background preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and the public on a daily basis
• Current CPR/AED and Basic First Aid certification required
• Ability to follow directions, cooperate with team members, and accept supervision
• Basic supervisory and administrative skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Employment Type: Hourly
Work Location: Onsite
Schedule: May include nights, weekends, and holidays
