Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Maintaining security over assigned areas by observing guests and watching for any unlawful or suspicious acts.
• Safeguarding casino assets and protecting the company, guests, and employees from unknown and anticipated threats.
• Checking credentials and IDs at access points.
• Receiving and responding quickly to phone and radio calls.
• Completing reports for all incidents.
• Surveying outdoor areas near the racetrack to ensure that guests do not enter restricted areas.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous military, security, or education in these fields desired with two or more year’s related experience and/or training preferred.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Must meet company insurance requirements.
• Must be able to read and write routine reports and other correspondence.
• Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests and employees.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. is required.

Pay

$20/hour – get paid daily, weekly or biweekly as needed.

Schedule

Shift: 11pm‑7am
