Security Officer

Qualifications

• High School/GED
• Current State Drivers License
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification within 90 days of hire
• International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) within 1 year of hire
• National Incident Management System (NIMS) within 1 year of hire
• LCMMC: Active FOID Card Service with a police department or active military, military reserves or National Guard, and/or 1 year security experience or customer service
• Associate's Degree (preferred)
• Service with a police department or active military, military reserves or National Guard, and/or 3 years security experience (preferred)
• Advanced CHSO certification (preferred)

Skills/Knowledge

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented

Pay

Expected pay for this position is $20.21 - $23.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
