Essential Functions
- Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events or at the facility.
- If necessary, escort disruptive individuals to the security office and/or off the premises.
- Write incident reports and meet with the security supervisor to review procedures.
- Inspect alarms and fire extinguisher/sprinkler systems to ascertain they are set to operate.
- Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
- Tour the facility examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secured.
- Auxiliary with crowd control inside and outside the premises.
- Analyze unusual circumstances and events during a fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Auxiliary with any security-related issues from departments.
- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Auxiliary with special projects within the security division.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year related security experience and/or training.
- Demonstrate knowledge of security issues related to major sports and entertainment venues.
- A Class D License is required.
