Security Officer
About the Role
Provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
- Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards on the premises.
- Maintains knowledge of and follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.
- Facilitates planned drills and simulations.
- Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Licenses & Certifications
NCI within 30 days of hire/transfer
Schedule
PRN / as needed / Per Diem. This position does not have a set weekly schedule. You'll be called in to work when extra help is needed—such as covering for someone, handling busy periods, or filling gaps in the schedule. Hours can vary from week to week, and there's no guaranteed hours.
