SECURITY OFFICER

Job Requirements

• Aid with guest and team member safety, gaming regulations, and company policies.
• Enforce local, state, and federal regulations.
• Write incident reports accurately.
• Perform guest identification checks.
• Initiate medical response to ill or injured persons.
• Stay informed of safety and emergency procedures.
• Dispatch security personnel and/or emergency services.
• Complete department paperwork promptly.
• Report unsafe conditions and accidents immediately.
• Assist with lost and found items.
• Understand and interpret rules and procedures.
• Conduct arrests, investigations, inspections, and interviews.
• Provide daily protection of company assets.
• Think creatively and work in a team approach.
• Follow company and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles requires DMV printout for insurance purposes.
• Must speak, read, and write English.
• Skilled in using personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to engage in physical activity, including confrontations.
• Ability to remain calm in adverse situations.
• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to interact courteously with inebriated customers.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to tolerate secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
• Registration with the Gaming Control Board is required.
