About the role

John Knox Village is seeking a caring, attentive, and friendly Security Officer to join their team at their leading Life Plan Community in Pompano Beach.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, employees, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
• Maintain safety and security by monitoring and guarding the entrance gates
• Opening gates for authorized individuals
• Verifying credentials
• Ensuring all entries align with approved rosters

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in Security and/or Hospitality
• Valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and accurate note-taking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

• This position is subject to Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law.

• Ability to sit, stand, and patrol for extended periods
