Responsibilities

• The Hospital Security Officer plays a critical role in creating a safe, welcoming, and patient centered environment.
• This position blends traditional security responsibilities with high quality customer service and concierge‑style support.
• Officers serve as ambassadors for the hospital, providing clear direction, compassionate assistance, and a calming presence while ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Serves as a resource for information and direction; responds to urgent and emergent situations; performs patrol functions and security checks throughout the campus; reports, investigates and documents incidents; controls internal and external traffic; enforces rules and regulations to ensure and maintain a safe and orderly facility.
• Greet patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, empathy, and a customer‑first attitude.
• Provide directions, escort assistance, and general information to support a positive hospital experience.
