Security Officer

About the role

Join our team as a full-time Security Officer in Cushing, OK. Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. We also offer inpatient behavioral health care to adults experiencing a mental health crisis by offering a fully staffed team of licensed professionals, personalized treatment plans and continued support after being discharged.

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property of all persons on hospital premises
• Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism
• Secure, unlock, and protect hospital buildings
• Respond to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors
• Position is safety sensitive

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of proper firearm use and safety
• CLEET Certification for Phase I, II, and IV

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1‑year security or law enforcement experience (strongly preferred)
