Security Officer

About the role

Heritage Companies is growing its Security team and seeks dependable and professional Security Officers to join at multiple locations throughout Albuquerque.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas and monitor property activity
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees and visitors
• Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances and safety concerns
• Monitor entrances, exits and other designated areas
• Document incidents and complete security reports
• Aid guests and team members when security support is needed
• Identify and report potential safety or security concerns
• Communicate professionally with Security leadership and property management
• Follow established emergency, safety and security procedures
• Provide a security presence that is professional, helpful and hospitality-focused

• Strong situational awareness
• Comfortable interacting with guests, employees and the public
• Able to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations
• Willingness to complete required security training and certifications
• Able to work a flexible schedule based on location and business needs
• Previous security, hospitality, military, law enforcement, customer service or similar experience is a plus
