What You Will Do
- Perform a variety of patrol, security, emergency response and customer service duties at assigned location.
- Greet and log in all visitors and vendors at entrance gate.
- Notify appropriate personnel or department of arrival.
- Direct visitors and vendors to destination.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Perform frequent patrols of the property.
- Walk, bicycles, or drive vehicle on irregularly scheduled rounds of property.
- Observe conditions of equipment, grounds and facilities.
- Pick up litter or debris as needed, or arrange clean-up with maintenance crews.
- Report damages or areas in need of repair to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Conduct surveillance of locations or areas in which vandalism or criminal activities have been noted.
- Assist with and trained for emergency situations.
- Collaborate with police officers in the prevention of crime.
- Work with fire response units for fire suppression, and with medical emergency response units in the event of emergency situations, at the assigned location.
- Provide basic emergency medical response (e.g. performs CPR, gives basic first aid) when needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Current CPR and first aid certifications, as required by specific site location.
- Skilled in responding appropriately to emergency and conflict situations.
- Knowledge of site rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Knowledgeable of the site topography and locations of emergency equipment and access points.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- High School diploma or GED.
- The estimated pay range for this role is currently $16.50 - $22.00/hour.
- This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions.
- Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
- This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
