Security Officer
About the role
The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is seeking a Security Officer who embodies a passion for excellence and enthusiasm in their work. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the guest experience by ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Patrol guest, employee, and public areas on foot and by vehicle to maintain order, deter incidents, and protect property
- Control and authorize access to designated areas for guests and employees, including conducting temperature checks when required
- Answer telephone calls to provide information, respond to inquiries, and relay messages courteously and professionally
- Monitor and authorize the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other personnel to prevent theft and ensure facility security
- Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting daily activities, security incidents, property damage, theft, unauthorized access, or unusual occurrences
- Enforce rules and policies by warning individuals of violations and apprehending or escorting violators from the premises when necessary
- Respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, provide basic first aid and CPR when needed, and contact police, fire, or emergency services to ensure prompt and effective incident response
Requirements
Work authorization required. Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States. The hospitality business operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required. Hawaii Driver’s License and Abstract is required for this role. Guard Card, First-Aid, CPR, and AED Certificate also required. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts.
