Security Officer

About the role

Excelsior Defense is accepting Unarmed Security Guards for a Federal Contract in the Sarasota Area. There is one Security Officer on duty per shift, stationed in an assigned Excelsior Defense company vehicle, conducting roving patrols of the entire property every hour and submitting hourly observations via the reporting app.

Responsibilities

• Conduct roving patrols of the entire property every hour
• Submit hourly observations via the reporting app

Requirements

• Must have held an active Class D Security Guards license in the State of Florida for 2 or more years
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must pass a drug screening as a condition of employment
• Must pass a background check upon offer of employment

Schedule

• Wednesday: 00:15 to 08:15 (8 hrs)
• Thursday: 00:15 to 08:15 (8 hrs)
• Friday: 16:15 to 00:15 (8 hrs)
• Saturday: 16:15 to 00:15 (8 hrs)
• Sunday: 16:15 to 00:15 (8 hrs)
• Total: 40 hours weekly

Pay

$17.75 per hour, plus an additional Health & Welfare Wage of $5.09 per hour into a 401(a) or Medical Benefits.
