The posted compensation range of $20.30 - $32.04 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Job Requirements
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
- Licenses/Certifications: BLS-CPR from American Heart Association within 90 days, International Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) Basic course within 90 days of employment
- Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Familiar with duties and responsibility of being a security officer, able to properly use assigned equipment and follow established policies and procedures, completes ICS 100HCb, 200b, & 700a training courses within 90 days of hire, maintain all other required training/certifications thereafter while employed by CommonSpirit Health, must be able to speak English, communicate clearly orally and in writing

Mercy Hospital is an 82 bed, acute care hospital located in the scenic southwestern Colorado town of Durango. It is the only hospital in Colorado to be rated by Medicare with five stars for overall hospital quality.
