Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols throughout the gated community.
- Inspect residential streets, entrances, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries.
- Check gates, access points, and community amenities for security concerns.
- Maintain a visible patrol presence to discourage unauthorized activity.
- Observe for suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, or property damage.
- Identify potential safety hazards and report maintenance concerns.
- Monitor community conditions and notify supervisors of issues requiring attention.
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and authorized guests.
- Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the community.
- Verify access authorization when required by post instructions.
- Report unauthorized individuals or unusual activity promptly.
- Follow established site procedures regarding visitor and contractor access.
- Respond appropriately to security-related incidents in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Document patrol findings, observations, and operational concerns using company reporting systems.
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors and dispatch personnel.
- Interact courteously with residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.
- Follow all company policies, post orders, and client-specific procedures.
- Represent Citadel Security USA with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle during overnight shifts.
- Successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation.
- Strong observation and decision-making abilities.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
