Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at a variety of commercial properties as assigned
• Fill open shifts resulting from employee absences, vacations, or operational demands
• Learn and follow site-specific post orders and client expectations
• Adapt quickly to new locations and changing assignments
• Patrol & property monitoring: Conduct scheduled interior and exterior patrols, monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and common spaces, identify and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or maintenance issues, help maintain a safe and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and clients
• Incident response: Respond appropriately to security-related incidents in accordance with company procedures, notify supervisors of emergencies, hazards, or unusual activity, assist first responders when necessary, exercise sound judgment while working independently
• Documentation & communication: Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately, maintain regular communication with supervisors and dispatch personnel, document observations and actions taken during each assignment

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned locations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work environments
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
