Primary Responsibilities
- Perform routine foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and exterior walkways.
- Maintain a visible security presence to help discourage theft, vandalism, and disruptive behavior.
- Observe customer and employee activity while remaining attentive to potential security concerns.
- Inspect assigned areas for safety hazards or conditions requiring attention.
- Help promote a safe environment for shoppers, employees, and visitors.
- Respond professionally to security concerns, disturbances, or policy violations.
- Provide courteous assistance when customers or employees request help.
- Notify store management and supervisors of situations requiring follow-up.
Store Support
- Work cooperatively with store leadership regarding security matters and operational concerns.
- Monitor high-traffic areas and assist with maintaining orderly conditions.
- Support site-specific security procedures and company policies.
- Report maintenance or safety issues that could affect store operations.
Documentation & Communication
- Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports before the end of each shift.
- Record observations involving safety concerns, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors regarding operational updates.
- Ensure documentation is clear, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail security, customer service, hospitality, or asset protection.
- Experience conducting patrols and preparing incident documentation.
- Familiarity with retail environments and customer interaction.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
