Security Officer

Location: Montrose, CO, 81401 Employment Type: Part-Time Pay Rate: $21.69 per hour Schedule: Sunday | 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM Position Summary Citadel Security USA is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare facility in Montrose. This role supports a safe and respectful environment for patients, visitors, and staff during overnight and morning hours. The position calls for reliability, situational awareness, and a professional approach in a setting where both safety and service matter. Key Responsibilities Conduct patrols of interior areas and surrounding grounds Monitor entry points and restricted areas within the facility Assist staff, patients, and visitors in a courteous manner Observe and report safety concerns, disturbances, or unusual activity Help maintain order while following site-specific guidelines Maintain a visible presence throughout the shift Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately Communicate clearly with supervisors and on-site personnel Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license required Ability to stay alert during overnight and extended shifts Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor in a healthcare environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred Experience Previous security experience, especially in healthcare settings Background in customer service or public-facing roles Familiarity with report writing and documentation Work Environment Hospital or medical facility setting Mix of indoor and outdoor patrol duties Regular interaction with staff, patients, and visitors Overnight shift requiring consistent attention and professionalism Equal Opportunity Employer Citadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
