Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a professional and responsible Security Officer to patrol and monitor the property and act as a deterrent to crime and oversee resident safety.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all resident’s emergency calls
• Observe and report any unusual activities that take place throughout the property
• Enforce the policies and rules set forth by Christian Care and protect the rights of all residents within the framework of Federal, State and Local laws
• Monitor alarms and closed-circuit television cameras
• Perform data entry
• Answer phones and direct calls accordingly
• Contact emergency services as needed

Requirements

• Great observation, good judgment, common sense, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Some experience or training in computer operation
• Valid AZ driver's license required
• Fingerprint Clearance card required
• Guard Card required

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Security Guard preferred

Hybrid schedule combining security and maintenance duties
