Security Officer
About the role
The Security Officer at Good Samaritan University Hospital is responsible for various duties including patrolling the hospital and grounds, monitoring lighting, illegal parking, reviewing conditions of parking fields, curbing, and sidewalks. They are assigned to fixed posts in the Emergency Department, Main Lobby, and Baxter Lobby. Additionally, they monitor visitors, write incident reports, ensure the safety of all staff, visitors, and patients, enforce security regulations, and participate in the Hospital Emergency Management Response Team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- NYS Security Guard License
- Clean NYS Driver's License
- BLS for providers from American Heart Association required
Pay
Salary Range: USD $27.00 - USD $29.00 /Hr.
