Security Officer

Job Summary

Calder Casino is a fun place to work! As a Security Officer, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our Team Calder and guests, observing and reporting any suspicious activities. Our Officers are also part of the entertainment experience, offering memorable moments for our internal and external guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Aiding in the transportation of money and chips.
• Controlling access to restricted areas.
• Reacting to patron and employee incidents and accidents.
• Monitoring patron and employee passage in and out of casino.
• Checking for and reporting safety hazards.
• Answering incoming calls to the facility and directing calls or answering patron questions.
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
