Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees
• Provide directions, escorts, and assistance to guests as needed
• Assist civil and law enforcement authorities, including providing testimony in court or administrative hearings
• Perform chip fills, jackpot verifications, and money escorts
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary
• Patrol all areas of the property to identify safety hazards and security concerns
• Interview, investigate, and document incidents in accordance with company policy
• Complete detailed lost and found reports and incident descriptions
• Enforce all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain attendance standards and adhere to departmental and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of experience in a role with direct guest contact required
• Preferred: two years of police, military, or casino security experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of basic computer programs
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Virginia Gaming License
• Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
• Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance
• Must complete eight (8) hours of ASP (baton) training
• Ability to prepare effective written reports
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for operating company vehicles
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 115°F
• Ability to physically restrain individuals when necessary
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis or stressful situations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, and maneuver quickly on various surfaces
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs
• Ability to tolerate secondhand smoke
