Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated hotel areas.
• Respond to disturbances and emergency situations.
• Maintain a daily activity log.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate all related information to hotel management.
• Access secured areas for authorized personnel.
• Complete incident/accident reports in a clear and concise manner.
• Escort guests to their rooms or assist guests with entry into their rooms according to hotel standards.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Monitor TV cameras, if applicable.
• Perform bell person tasks and assist guests with luggage.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• HighSchool diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Prior security experience is desirable.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work nights.
• Must be available to work 4 night shifts per week, each shift lasting 5 hours.
• Must be able to work on holidays and weekends and alternate shifts.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend and reach, and climb stairs.

Schedule

This is a part-time opportunity from August 1 to October 31st, requiring 4 night shifts per week, each shift lasting 5 hours.
