Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform patrol and detection services
• Assist customers and provide response and intervention as needed
• Monitor services to ensure team member, patient, and visitor safety
• Complete communication and documentation tools
• Conduct weapons screening in an appropriate manner
• Apply life safety and weapons screening techniques
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (Associate’s in a related field preferred)
• 1 year of customer service experience (2 years preferred)
• 1 year of security experience (1 year in healthcare or hospital-related field preferred)

Qualifications

• Florida Driver’s License
• Security D License (within 90 days of hire)
• IAHSS (Security) Certification (within 1 year of hire)
• FDLE (Law Enforcement) Certification (preferred)

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Days: Sunday – Wednesday
• Weekend work required every weekend
