The Security Officer position at BayCare Health System's Lakeland Free Standing Emergency Room is dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities
- Patrol and detection services

- Provide monitoring services to assure safety
- Completes communication and documentation tools
- Conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner
- Completes other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Certifications and Licensures: Driver's License (State of Florida), IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year, Security D - Within 90 days
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- Experience: 1 year Customer Service, 2 years Security
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree in a related field.
Skills
Life safety and weapons screening techniques are essential for this role.
