Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for restricted and sensitive areas, following site protocols for visitors, deliveries, and/or credential checks.
• Support daily operations at an aerospace and defense location by documenting observations, escalating maintenance or security-related issues, and assisting with site-specific instructions as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
