Security Officer

About the role

Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, helping monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support access control procedures and guide visitors, vendors, and staff in accordance with location protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts, medical personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, daily activity, and/or situations that may require follow-up.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
