Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual)
- 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR
- 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR
- 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108)
- Valid Driver's License

What You'll Do
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of location-specific conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and contractor activity, and support security-related screening processes in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
