Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including perimeter areas, entry points, parking areas, and other assigned zones where conditions may vary.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, screening visitors and/or vehicles as directed, and helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Support site emergency protocols by communicating with personnel, assisting with evacuations and/or shelter procedures, and remaining aware of location hazards and required protective equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
