Security Officer

Responsibilities

• General supervision of all Admiral Security Personnel assigned to their building(s)
• Supervise all contractual aspects of security, scheduling, supplies/equipment, administrative functions, training, evaluations, payroll, and site safety
• Manage payroll process, enter payroll if applicable
• Maintain appropriate account files (personnel, operations, and training)
• Address disciplinary problems and work with HR to investigate any issues
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of all equipment used at the site
• Assists with the staffing of all posts to ensure complete coverage
• Schedule officers and fill vacant posts
• Conduct inspections of officers, appearances, licenses, and uniforms
• Review written reports and sign-in sheets for clarity, completeness, accuracy, and legibility
• Audit all entries for completeness, accuracy, and legibility
• Review Post orders and make recommendations for changes to senior management

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of property or properties where assigned, facilities, post orders, emergency contact list, emergency procedures, special instructions, and post duties
• Attend and successfully pass Admiral Leadership training
• At least 2 years of security supervisor experience or experience in a related field
• College degree may count as half of the experience qualification
• Exemplary performance and attendance record with no disciplines within a year of applying for this position
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Multitasking ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to operate and maintain site-specific security programs
