About the role
As a Full Time Unarmed Mobile Response Driver Security Officer in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and assist with enforcing community rules and site-specific access procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual occurrences, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license as required by Allied Universal driver policy.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.
