Security Officer Associate
Position Summary
The Security Associate provides a welcoming, customer focused presence at facility entrances and public areas. This role is responsible for weapon screening, access control, lobby management, and supporting routine security operations. Security Associates proactively identify disruptions, provide directions and assistance, and collaborate with Security Officers during emergencies. This position emphasizes professionalism, strong communication, and consistent demonstration of HealthPartners values of excellence, integrity, compassion, and partnership.
Work Schedule
FTE 1.0, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Minimum Qualifications
- FBI/BCA background check required upon hire.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent and one or more of the following educational or experience requirements: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service, patient care, guest services, mental health care, or any role requiring de-escalation, OR One (1) year of post-secondary education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous law enforcement or public safety experience.
- Previous customer service.
- Military experience as applicable.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required.
- Strong time management and organizational skills required.
