Security Officer Arrestee Transport

About the role

Allied Universal is now hiring Armed Security Professionals for "Arrestee Transport" positions. These roles require a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Certified Law Enforcement Officer civilian or military, or 2 years' experience in Corrections. Applicants must be provided with state certifications from a police academy or corrections academy. The positions are full-time or part-time, open to those 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license in the job state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry, checking identification, credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
• Support investigations and daily operations by preparing clear reports, preserving incident details, and following directions related to government facility protocols, public interaction, and/or restricted areas.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass Allied and client background checks, including a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Knowledge of government facility protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

DayTime: Wed 05:00 PM - 03:00 AM, Thur 05:00 PM - 03:00 AM, Fri 05:00 PM - 03:00 AM, Sat 05:00 PM - 03:00 AM.
