Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Specialist in Pearland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. • DayTime: Mon 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Tue 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Fri 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sat 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sun 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and merchandise zones for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, then report findings according to site procedures.
• Support access control and closing procedures, assist with de-escalation during customer and/or employee interactions, and help maintain an orderly environment throughout assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
