Security Officer Armed Specialist-AM shift

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Specialist in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorization for entry when required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and complying with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
