Security Officer Armed Site Patrol

About the role
As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location in Midland, TX, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through a visible presence. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document security-related events, observations, and incident details with accuracy.
- Support a professional site presence by communicating with personnel, guests, and first responders as needed, while following client-facing service expectations and post-specific instructions.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
- Access control and badge experience (preferred).
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$25.00 / hour

- Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
