Security Officer Armed Site Patrol

About the role
As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$21.40 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: Monday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Friday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
