Security Officer Armed Site Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Hurlock, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
• Support incident reporting, assist with preliminary investigations of security-related concerns, and maintain readiness of assigned equipment in line with post orders and applicable requirements.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
