Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report suspicious behavior, prohibited items, and policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
• Support access control, incident response, and communication efforts with onsite personnel and/or first responders while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
