Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and assist with enforcing community rules, parking regulations, and/or posted property guidelines.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with residents and/or management, and completing required reports related to daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions.

Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
