As a Security Officer Armed - School Access in Rock Hill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to campus needs. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with school personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, supporting established entry procedures and reporting suspicious or unauthorized persons, vehicles, or activity.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
