Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with professional communication and customer service. In this driving post, you will bring reliability, integrity, teamwork, and an agile approach to every shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, government location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify access permissions, and support movement control procedures consistent with post orders and location requirements.
• Assist with de-escalation, communication, and coordination with site contacts and/or public agencies during routine operations and emergency situations.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time, Tuesday and Wednesday, 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
