Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Roving Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior, trespassing, and/or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
