Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Mahwah, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entrances, lobbies, restricted areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain a visible armed presence and report maintenance, operational, and security-related issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements
- A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
- Retired or Current Law enforcement or retired corrections is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
