Security Officer Armed Quality Control

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer at a residential country club community in Boca Raton, FL, you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post includes routine patrols, clear communication, and exceptional customer service for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents and visitors while enforcing community access requirements and reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
