About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Watch in Trenton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and remain a visible presence for staff, patients, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while coordinating with site contacts and public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with screening, visitor management, and/or restricted area access in accordance with location policies and healthcare operational needs.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site leadership, and law enforcement when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
