Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual)

• 21+ Years of Age (C101)
• Active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only) (C122)
• 3+ Year Military Police or Corrections Officer or Armed Security or Certified Law Enforcement Graduate (C156)
• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and/or document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures and government location requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
