Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit
About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an armed patrol officer. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a highly regulated aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing timely information with site leadership and/or public emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support the handling of prohibited items, restricted materials, and other access-related concerns in accordance with post orders.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining a professional presence, preparing clear reports, and following all armed post requirements, equipment protocols, and escalation procedures.
Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license as required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Rate: $20.36 / Hour
