Security Officer Armed Patrol Site Protection

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Lynwood, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

This is a part-time position with the flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the property and report unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Help deter trespassing, theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity through visible patrol presence and professional interaction with occupants and visitors.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience and comfort using a computer or tablet are preferred.

$24.00 / hour

• Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
