Armed Security Officer Patrol Site Protection

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Site Protection Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in higher education. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to campus needs. This role requires a valid Armed Guard Card or License and Texas Level III Armed Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain authorized firearms and other assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken through clear and accurate reports.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• CPR Certification is preferred.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.94 / hour

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
